Hi all,I recenly got an LG BLU-RAY RE-Writer model BH08LS20,i installed on my pc running windows 7 but it wouldnt read any discs at all,it was recognised by windows and showed up in my computer ect,i asumed it was a problem with windows 7 so i reinstalled xp but it still wont read any discs at allcould it be a duff do ya reckon??or is there anything i could try to see if it works?TIA for any help.

try SATA set as AHCI in BIOS
if that dont work try SATA set as IDE

Thanx for reply ozzsurf,tried the AHCI mode but pc then crashes and reboots,other option is raid,

My LG drive didn't have anything like these problems. Sound like yours might be a dogdy drive - ditch it.
